Charlotte - my goodness. How beautiful! You all must be quite a bit ahead of us. I'm just seeing beginning buds on my roses, and no clematis yet. The dogwood are beautiful, and I have wisteria and lilacs, but nothing compared to you. The first purple iris, my favorites, are also starting to bloom. You are also a fine photographer, or is that your husband?
Most of the photos are Fred's. I do think that if I can hold my hand steady I have almost as good an eye as he - and in fact I was standing just behind him and in one or two instances in the frame saying snap this, snap here. He is a patient soul in addition to being a good photographer and the Easter Bunny at the appropriate time of the year.
