For those of us who are still somewhat mathematically challenged, this is one of those days that could completely slip by, so I thought I would remind you. I do keep thinking of some old corny joke about "Pi R Squared" vs. "Pie Are Round". By way of celebration, I would suggest that we all indulge in pie, - of the "are round" variety.

Lucy, I wonder why you don't have any square pie pans? Oh, You did say for those of us that are still somewhat mathematically challenged didn't you? Round or squared, If it is the right flavor, I will indulge.

Keith - I knew I could count on you - for both the graphic and the continuation of the number.
I, too, am mathematically challenged and keep my calculator close by. I saw a cooking show with pi are round--apple pan dowdy where you make the syrup, brown the quartered apples in a skillet in the syrup, and then place a rolled out pie crust on top, place it in the oven and bake. That is, my friends, apple pan dowdy. My new concept of the day. Thanks, Lucy, for reminding me how retarded I am in math and thanks, Keith, for adding all of the numbers to make me remember what Lucy was talking about.

I imagine some of that maple syrup would be pretty good in the "dowdy".
