Like, Lucy said, thanks, I guess. As Keith said, it's sad. There goes another landmark of our youth. Now all that is left is the auditorium building.

I had been out of town for about three weeks (and I'm freezing here, of course), and when I got back to town yesterday afternoon, I drove by. It still looks much as the picture shows. I can't decide if I want to witness the actual demolition or not. I hope they weren't waiting on me to get back:)
Resist the temptation, Lucy, don't go there until all the debris is carted off. At this point our memories are the most important thing and I must say we've all done a fine job of documenting them. Hope your weather starts to warm some during March, although it's a notoriously unpredictable month.
Joanne Hedges Moffett, who lives on the southwest corner of Summer & 7th, put together a video of the destruction. It is on Logan Independent Journal (which Keith has linked for us). Really a nice job.
